Piazza Lamarmora represents the intersection point of several streets and paths of the old town.
The open space is characterized by the fountain known as "Su Maimoni", a recent reconstruction that revives an ancient fountain, that dates back to the end of the 18th century, which was demolished for viability reasons in 1872.
Raised from the street level by three steps with concentric octagonal rings, the parapet of the well is placed in their center and it rises on square pillars where round arches are set, a male statue called "Su Maimoni” is placed at the top.
